ABOUT ME



I’ve been at the forefront of marketing transformations in entertainment, fashion, and art for 30 years now. As an all-round and multi-industry Chief Creative and Marketing Officer, I’ve seen with great excitement the different seasons pass: from physical to digital, all the way to artificial intelligence. However, along the way I’ve learned that the process remains the same. You still earn a customer one at a time, through a deep emotional connection, which has to be authentic. A connection that has to make them dance.
My most recent challenge was the opportunity of bringing the legendary Fania Records brand back to life, after a hibernation of about 20 years. When we acquired the “Motown of Latin Music,” we knew there was more than met the eye. After going through old files, we found an old storage unit in upstate New York. It proved a real treasure trove with about 3,000 albums, many of them unreleased. And in addition to these amazing musical assets was a formidable brand ready to be reborn. Fast forward 18 years and Fania has become a worldwide entertainment brand, true to its Latin roots, connected and engaged with more than 10 million consumers on a monthly basis. It was an honor to work with this brand and definitely a career highlight.

Helped the famed multinational consumer goods corporation set up its very first digital team and web strategy. As they say, the rest is history!

Developed and licensed IBM’s e-business marketing strategy, to be carried out by their worldwide consulting team, which continues to empower clients to digitally reinvent themselves.

Constructed and presented the first C-Level e-business overview for the global science and technology innovator, committed to improving quality of life around the world.

Lead Fania’s revival back to the world’s main stage, through an adaptive strategy, which involved entering and leading the musical digital age, with playlists, remixes, new artists, merchandising, approaching new markets, and organizing live events.

Conducted syndicated marketing research, which accurately predicted AT&T’s dominance today in bundled communications services.

Developed their go-to-market strategy for the deregulated natural gas industry in Georgia. By focusing on the right clients, Georgia became one of their winning markets.

Created the first record label, clothing, and events company all rolled into one!

After conducting extensive national market research, we developed for the NTRA their first entertainment brand strategy, transforming a previously unglamorous experience into a jet set experience, which is followed by most U.S. racing tracks today.

Created the first national campaign, “México Natural,” for the Mexican high-end jewelry brand, which enjoys clients of the likes of Penelope Cruz, Lenny Kravitz, Eva Longoria, and Enrique Iglesias.

Founded a lifestyle marketing and branding agency with a select client roster including: IBM, Southern Company, Williams Energy, APS, and Honeywell; resulting in a 2 million-plus revenue and very happy clients!

Lead strategic marketing and public relations campaigns for clients such as FedEx, Discovery, and British Airways, which represented 60% of revenue for the largest independent agency in Latin America.

Developed the overall marketing and brand strategy for the lifestyle and music compilation startup, expanding distribution through retail gift stores.
